DID YOU KNOW:

RouteSavvy is more affordable than Routific. Why?

RouteSavvy’s monthly per-vehicle subscription costs significantly less than Routific’s monthly per-vehicle cost.

RouteSavvy Is A Great Routific Alternative Because It’s More Affordable

Businesses & non-profits watching their budget will appreciate RouteSavvy because it’s more affordable & cost-effective than Routific. Why?

RouteSavvy is more affordable & cost-effective than Routific for 2 reasons:

1

RouteSavvy charges an affordable PER-VEHICLE price that is significantly less than Routific’s pricing.

2

RouteSavvy offers discounts as you add vehicles to your fleet, i.e., the more vehicles that use RouteSavvy, the price-per-vehicle decreases.

OnTerra Systems’ mission has always been to provide traditionally expensive route planning technologies at affordable prices so even the most modestly sized businesses & non-profits can afford to deploy this game-changing technology.

RouteSavvy = The Ideal Routific Alternative For Faster, Easier Setup Of Route Planning

Getting started with RouteSavvy is a fast, efficient process:

  • Step 1: Upload a spreadsheet of your customer orders:
  • Step 2: Choose your start and end point (usually your office, garage, or warehouse)
  • Step 3: Enter how many drivers you have, and what hours they work
  • Step 4: Select the “Optimize” button.

In a few seconds, RouteSavvy will create your routes for you and have them ready to dispatch.

Getting started with Routific is a CHALLENGE:

  • Step 1: Select a day on the calendar for the route to be run.
  • Step 2: Create an individual profile for each driver in your fleet, including name, phone number, origin address, and shift hours. There’s a lot of duplicating of data entry because most businesses and non-profits have their drivers all starting and ending at the same location. This means the same information has to be loaded again and again as each driver profile is added to the system.
  • Step 3: Enter the address for the point of origin for each route, one-by-one.  If this is a one-way route, users also will need to enter address information for the final destinations.
  • Step 4:  Upload the list of stops / addresses, typically in the form of a .CSV spreadsheet
  • Step 5: Optimize the routes
  • Step 6: Dispatch to drivers

RouteSavvy Makes Recurring Routes Easier Than Routific’s Approach

Recurring routes that you run day after day, week after week, are much easier to deploy with RouteSavvy route planning software.

RouteSavvy does not tie any routes to a specific date, which allows greater flexibility in route planning. For businesses or non-profits that have recurring routes, those recurring routes in RouteSavvy can be re-used indefinitely. Plus, RouteSavvy makes it easy to make small changes to a recurring route, such as adding or removing individual customers from the route, without having to completely redo the route.

With Routific route planning, every project, or collection of routes, is tied to a specific date. This means that if users have recurring routes, they have to change the date on the project every day before the recurring route can be dispatched. The reality of this approach is that Routific route planning software forces users with ongoing, recurring routes to only be able to plan routes one day at a time.

For those businesses & non-profits that run different routes every day, RouteSavvy offers a quick, 4-step process to optimize the day’s routes.

How to Migrate from Routific to RouteSavvy

Step 1: To migrate from Routific to RouteSavvy, the first step is to export your customer data from your Order Management system.  One of our specialists will work with you to help you export your customer data in either a .CSV (Comma Separated Value) file or a .XLSX (Excel) file.

Did You Know: Once your customer information is in the Routific system, Routific doesn’t let you export your customer information. (This locks you into using Routific.) A migration to RouteSavvy gets around this by pulling customer data from your internal order management system.

Step 2:  From RouteSavvy, select your .CSV export file and click “Create Route”.

Step 3:  Enter your route information all on one screen.  Choose Route Start and End, the number of vehicles available for the day, your Driver Availability, and whether you would like to minimize the number of routes, or spread the stops evenly across the number of available drivers.

The Route Start and End, and the Driver Availability will remain in the system until you change it.

Step 4: Press “Next” and RouteSavvy will create your routes for you.

Step 5: When you are satisfied with your routes, dispatch them to your drivers.
